Help me to buy an electric guitar?

hi, i have been used ibanez brand and i am thinking of changing an electric guitar to Schecter brand- (Electric Guitar) it costs like 699.00 dollars (AUS). CAN someone explain the differences with Ibanez and the one which i am going to buy and it's good if tell me about the guitar which i am going to buy. thanks!
