Buy a dry mop - like a huge swiffer on a stick. Dry mopping (no water) is basically dusting the floor and gets rid of all the debris. You don't need to use water and chemicals as much, which will extend the life of your floor. It doesn't take much time to dry mop either. I got mine at Target.
