Epiphone or Schecter for GNR/A7x style?

Don't get too caught up in the idea that you need a specific guitar for a specific style. You can play metal on a Tele if you want. It's much more important to get something you like the feel and sound of than worrying about the style of music you play. I'm sure some will disagree though. Like they say, the guitar picks the player, not the other way around. When you pick up the right guitar you'll know it.
