If I install downloaded (cracked) games and use it with my steam account will I be banned or sth?

EVERYBODY and ALL my friends say that Portal 2 is awesome but I just dont c any point in going thru doorways and solving stuff all the tym... So I downloaded a cracked version to try it (if I like it ofc i will buy it on steam to have it legally) to try and c the game b4 I buy it. This game EVEN if its cracked needs a logged on steam account to launch so my question is dat will I get banned for this?
