Schecter hellraiser, clean channel semi fuzzy distorted? Battery dying? Anyone else get this?

I have a schecter hellraiser never had a problem b4 but sometimes my clean channel is semi fuzzy or distorted i plug in my other guitat its clean so not the amp and it seems to do it after i took battery out? Is it just battery or? Anyone else get this prob? 81/89 emg active pick ups...,
