What is a suitable fast setting adhesive for marble slims?

I want to make a marble door frame/doorway, on which the pre-fabricated aluminum door with jamb system will be fixed. The doorway/frame must be marble (marble tiles fixed on mortar wall). Now, what type of adhesive will be suitable and will set quickly? This will be needed for a wood-to-aluminum door replacement. Also, do you know how thick the adhesive must be?
