Whats the best tube amp for an 8 string guitar?

peavey makes those new vypyr amps that come in tube models and are supposed to be pretty awesome? i have the 75 watt 12" model but mine is not the tube one! i am still very impressed with it! but if your looking for marshall tube sound from the 80's like gun's and roses, manowar, metal church! then you will need a marshall tube amp! no others come close. that would be like trying to get my esp h-1000 to sound like a gibson les paul! the esp is awesome but it will never get that les paul sound! but a peavey 5150 is really hard to beat also!
