Three months ago I heard 3 knocks on my door?

Three months ago I heard 3 knocks on my bedroom door and as i called out come in. I got up to check on my kids and they were all sound asleep. I questioned them the next day and none of them claims to have done it. So for a while i was spooked and then got over it. This past weekend my mother stayed over and slept in my daughters room,( she is with her father right now about an hour away) Friday night she slept peacefully in there but Sat. she fell into a deep sleep and was awakened around 3 am with somebody playing with my daughters things. My mother shrugged it off and went back to sleep. Again the noise got louder so being spooked my mother ran into my other daughters room and slept with her. As soon as she got into the room she heard a loud bang in my daughters closet as if something was chasing her out and trying to scare her. So she tried to wake up my daughter when my other daughter appeared at the doorway of her room. She was furious and wanted to know who was in her room and who was sleeping in her bed. She proceeded to argue with my daughter and she just kept saying noone and was just too out of it. Then my mother finally sat up in the bed and looked at her straight in the eyes and said noone ok look im sleeping with your sister, nobody used your blanket ! Then this image that was pretended to be my daughter called my mother a bit** and slammed the bedroom door shut to my other daughters room. My mother swears up and down that this happened and at this point she was certain it was my daughter. When she woke up in the morining and checked her room and she wasnt there. I called to check on my daughter and she claims she has not been home. She's only an hour away but i know my ex husband and he would not have taken her home at 3 or 4 in the morning. My question is has anybody else experienced this ? Should i be worried ? obviously this thing didn't want my mother in her room and ran her out. How should i handle this situation? Was this a demon?

My church has an annual youth lock-in every Good Friday. Will these pickups fit into my guitar?

The neck is the one that is always 50mm. You can choose to have your bridge pickup in 53mm which is what you would need for a floyd rose bridge. When you order on their site they have all these options like the colour (they have an extensive range) and what spacing you want, the magnet, the sort of pole pieces you want. If you want to play heavy metal i recommend using ceramic magnets. not sure what sort of polepieces you should get but i don't think it matters much.

I just bought a Schecter Diamond Series 5 string fretless bass and on the 1st 2 or 3 frets (or where they would be) it sounds as if the notes are muted. This effect worsen when i tune the bass down to low A on the B string or drop D in the E string. Anyone know why it's doing this????

I don't think her actions constitute abuse necessarily, poor parenting definately. My fear was lightning at night. My mom would call me a baby for being afraid of flashed of light. Then when I was in school the teacher told us that lightening strikes the highest object so if there was a thunderstorm at niight I would go sleep on my parents floor so the lightening would steike her instead.

I suffered from anorexia for all of my late teens and most of my twenties. I have no desire to go into all the details because the most important thing is that I recovered. You are not "a terrible anorexic". Anorexia isn't something you try hard at or try to get better at. You are just not anorexic. This doesn't make your suffering any less. Look at what you have just written. Is that any way to live? Where has this illness got you in the past two years? Whilst you are starving and binging and vomiting and thinking about food, your life is carrying on without you. Don't make the same mistake I did and realise that I had missed out on the best years of my life to an illness that I was able to fight if I chose to. Somebody with terminal cancer has no control over their illness. Someone with an eating disorder has the option to fight it and I suggest you get help today and start fighting towards a healthy and happy future. The alternative is that you wake up one day and realise you are lonely, infertile and have failed to achieve the things you wanted to in life. Good luck.

Recording metal help?

So I have written a death metal song and am trying to record the guitar part and I cant get it to sound professional or any good. I am using a les paul/schecter, the les paul has passive pickups, the schecter has emg 81/89s with coil tap I am using a dunlop crybaby kirk hammet wah, and am sending that through an rp150 via usb cable too garageband and the rp150 is what has all the distortion and the effects. I would record it clean and then add the distortion via garageband but then it sounds weird and I cant get pinch harmonics very well. so I was wondering what would be a good preset for the rp150 to get tone similar to bloodbath (band) and also what would be some tips to make it sound more professional. I have no money.

What are some good guitar pedals of improving tone?

I am on a quest for my dream tone like very guitarist is. And i am looking into some pedals to add to my current setup in hopes of getting closer to my dream tone. But i have no idea where to start or what pedals are good or bad. My friend lent me a RAT Distortion pedal which i found excellent. But I am looking for a very post-hardcore rock/rock/metal sound for my electric guitar and i have no idea what to look into. I've heard that the RAT family has good pedals, and i've also heard good things about Tube Screamers, but i really have no idea what will help me and what wont. I have a crate GFX-212 solid state amp, with a Schecter Diamond Series hellraiser guitar with active emgs. And i also have a cry baby 535q wah pedal. My main goal is to get an overall warmer full spectrum tone with an overall heaviness to it for rhythm chugging, but clarity and definition for some lead riffs than i have currently. So I'm looking for any pedals that will aid me in getting at least a little closer to that desired tone. i'm having a hard time accepting my diagnosis and feel sortof alone in this whole struggle.part of me feels like im "crazy" now coming to realizations that the way I thought and felt isn't normal. I was so used to my thought patterns and superstitions as I felt like they helped me to "predict" the future to feel more secure but now I realize how irrational i've been and that it just causes more anxiety for me.I feel this huge weight of guilt and shame over this and continue to beat myself up over nothing literally except my irrational thoughts and failing to be perfect. I need help deciding on a guitar to buy.?

My price range is pretty much 200-350 max. Ive been looking on Musicians Friend alot and i have found a few that i like. But i cant decide which one to order. My Selections are A Schecter Omen 6 Floyd Rose, An Ibanez GRGA32T, a few of the Dean Razorbacks for the 200-300 price range And also a few of the ESP's in that same price range. I don't really want a gibson or a Fender or anything of that sort cause all your buying when you buy those guitars is the brand. Not saying they dont make good guitars its just they are built to be able to play Alot of genres of music and the thing is the only thing i am interested in playing is pure METAL!!! But seriously i need a guitar that will be good for playing metal. Basically im just looking for really good quality that wont put a whole in my pocket. Ive heard Ibanez's are a pretty damn good deal but others are pretty cheap and look playable as well. Is the tension out of my garage door torsion spring?

I am completely removing the garage door from my house, and i have already removed the door its self, all that is left is the torsion springs (mounted in center of doorway). My question is, if the lift cable had been cut on each side and spun unwound, Is there still tension in the torsion spring, or is there a way to let it out by unwinding the cable. I know how to let the tension out of the spring from the winding cone, but I don't know if there is any tension to release

Why cant my parents be happy for me?

I am pregnant with my 3rd child (about 6 weeks) and my mother knows, she wont stop saying things like 'it isnt really even viable til 12 weeks anyway' and 'oh well I suppose next year you are just going to have to try your best to keep your head above the mess. Its such a shame, 3 more years and Ryan (my son) would have been in full time school and you would have been free' . My dad has been saying for years for me not to have any more children and that 2 is enough, I am one of 2 and nobody in my extended family has had more than 2 kids before. This pregnancy was a shock for myself and my husband too. I have been working for the past 6 months after having 5 years as a SAHM and it is only a 2 day a week position, but it has made me realise that there is no way in hell I am doing 5 days a week until my children have grown up and left home anyway. Why does my floyd rose special bridge keep striping the coiling off of my a string?

I have a schecter damien elite fr equipped with a floyd rose special bridge. everytime i try and pull the bar up a lot, the a strings coiling is stripped off and it pops out of the bridge. This is only a problem with the a string. Does anyone know why it does this and how to fix it? p.s. I play songs by avenged sevenfold which uses a lot of whammy for divebombs

Before I had time to answer my friends thought it'd be amusing to shout 'YES." The saleswoman seemed surprise and she kept asking me if he was rich and handsome. She kept going off rather unprofessionally about my how supposedly lucky my non existent boyfriend was. At this point I was extremely embarrassed and very uncomfortable, but my *wonderful* peers decided to take advantage of the awkward moment and hint that my non existent boyfriend was an unemployed nobody. The saleswoman continued to patronize me saying that he probably had a secret hidden stash of money at home hidden from me and that he was a drug dealer. At this point nobody laughed not even my friends because I just stood there stunned. She walked away and I immediately left the store. I probably over reacted but the woman's intentions were to humiliate me which was a shame because I didn't tell my mum about that specific store and found another one with a better price on the watch. Good Performance Combo Amp for Guitar?

I'm looking for an combo amp that's an upgrade from my crappy Squier practice amp and my even more crappy first generation Fender G-Dec. I want something that I can perform with at small venues at my college with my a band a few friends and I are starting up if we get good enough. So it needs to have good tone and power for performance, yet still good for just practicing. I play a Schecter C-1 Classic and use a Boss Me-70 for effects and amp modeling. I want something versatile, but it's important that it can give a good rocky sound because that's mainly what I play. I'm looking to spend probably between 300-700 bucks, but recommendations that cost more are still greatly appreciated. Also, do you think it'd be better if i bought a cabinet or would a combo do for my needs? I want something that I can grow into as a musician after playing on crappy practice amps for the 6 or so years I've been playing guitar. It'd also be nice if it had some EQing and multiple inputs for the other people in the band.

so i posted this but it wouldnt show up so heres the story again: my house is not haunted, lived in here my whole life and nothing weird. one night i hear something say "im so sorry" crystal clear in my ear, i thought it was my dad (my attemp at trying to be reasonable) and somehow his voice carried to my room, so i went in parents room, hes asleep. i wake him up and ask if he said something and he says he didnt and it was probably my imagination. i stay awake that whole night. next night im getting ready for bed and i see this guy standing in my doorway with his arms folded. i am terrified, drop everything, got in bed and tried to ignore him. next day, i am preparing to lay down again (i was sick) so i put a box of tissues next to me mattress. i KNOW i put them there because i kinda had to squeeze them in between the wood part and matress. i leave to get something and i come back and sitting in the middle of my bed is the tissue box with some of the tissues pulled out and crumpled. what is this? what is going on?

The nut fell of my bass help ?

I have a schecter diamond series elite -5 string bass, i tried playing it today and realized that the action was way too low. The strings were pressured against the neck of the bass. ( It may just be the strings though I havent changed them in a year or so, any advice on that). I decided to take off the strings and when i did the nut came off. Can i just super glue it or leave it like that and put new strings on. Also is there a reason why the action was so low. I'm 13 and me and my best friend Raquel have been best friends since we were 2. we have mostly been on the chubby side but not fat. i was 5'4 and weighed 135. she was 5'6 and weighed 149. i always felt deppresed about my weight but i was tall so you couldnt really tell i weighed that much. Raquel started going out with Jon he was the super cute jock that every girl wanted to go out with. later on in the relationship Jon stood up infront of the whole school and dumped Raquel and called her a fat whore. She was so hurt. I went over to her house and we talked about Health Class and about everything we were learning like bulimia,anorexia,purging,binging. And that was her solution to being fat. She made me promise that I would do it with her and I did because I was scared that I was going to loose my bff. This is how our day went: wake up for school run a little late so we wouldn't have to eat what our moms had made and just grab a granola bar or apple and throw it away on the bus. For lunch we would bring our lunch and just eat a little like a fourth of a sandwich and go to the bathroom and puke it up. For dinner we would eat as little as possible just enough for our parents not to notice and go to the bathroom and throw it up. That's how it is still because we don't feel beautiful and no matter how much weight we loose its never going to be enough.

Which bass guitar is better?

i am looking for a new bass guitar. right now i am looking at Schecters. some have EMG pickups, some have diamond bass pickups and some have schecter PJ pickups. i was just wondering which is better. any suggestions on what model i should get? i only have about $350.

Why aren't more men willing to accommodate for their dangerous nature?

Following up from my question that was unfortunately deleted by the misogynists, I called this dangerous man I met the other day who gave me his number and offered me out for coffee Friday. However, before I could tell him I would be unable to attend due to the uncertainty of my own safety, He apologized for never considering how much danger he was potentially putting me in by not thinking of how dangerous he, himself is. He begged for my apology, stating that his sudden cloudy judgment upon asking initially was the fault of being male and possessing an inferior mind. Then he offered to rent a cell at the nearest high maximum security prison in which we could enjoy coffee from opposing sides of the bars, not until voluntarily undergoing a cavity search by the of the officers and walking through a metal detector as well, of-course. I couldn't turn down such a generous and secure offer. I told him it was such a shame most men aren't willing to accommodate for their dangerous nature. so that goes back to the question above, why aren't more men willing to accommodate for their dangerous nature to insure the safety of women?

Secret arched doorway in room?

Okay so Ive always wanted to have a secret door in my room. And my parents will let me do it if I put the research and money in for it. Its going in my walk in cloest and will lead to the side of my house where the garden is. How much does it cost to carve a door, and I want it to be arched. Do they sell that at homedepot. Schecter Hellraiser C-1. Floyd Rose or not?

I've been looking at this guitar for the past few months as my second guitar. I'm mainly into metal like Avenged Sevenfold, but I would also like to play some classic rock, maybe dip a bit into a bluesy atmosphere just to get my wings. Anyway, I've been debating whether or not to get the Floyd Rose model, or go without. I've been playing for maybe 5 1/2 months, however long ago mid-August was, and I'm not extremely experienced, but doing harmonics would be pretty sexy with a Floyd Rose. Then again, it could also be Beginner's Hell. I need some opinions!

Schecter Omen 6 Electric Guitar Problem?

I have the Schecter Omen 6 and I play on a squire champ 15 amp. When I play on the clean channel I adjust the volume for where I can hear the guitar good, and when I switch to distortion channel it is so loud it almost blows you away (Expression). I purchased this guitar brand new off of ebay from a dealer in new mexico. I live really far from new mexico, but I found the phone number and explained my problem to them. The man said he can flat out tell me it is probably not the guitar because the humbuckers are made for super distortion, so when playing on an amp like that you will need to adjust the gain and volume (ex. gain= 2 to 3 and volume= 8 to 9 or the other way around) but when the volume is 2 to 3 i can barely hear the clean channel and when the volume is on 8 to 9 that is too loud. He said a bunch of other things too explaining it, but I can't really remember it all. What can I do to fix it. I take guitar lessons every week so I can't really send it into schecter itself because I might not get it back in time. But then I might void the warrenty taking it to a dealer. Is it the guitar or the amp?

Electric guitar advice?

I recently picked up an RGA42FM myself to replace an old 80s strat. I like the feel a lot better than the strat but I'm going to rewire the pickups from series to parallel to get some brightness and clarity back. Too crunchy with too much high rolloff for my taste. Concerning a floating trem the issue is it's a pain to tune which just adds another level of difficulty to someone starting out. If you're intending to be the Steve Vai 80s style dive bomber hero obviously you'll need one but if your favorite stuff doesn't use trem much it's an added complexity and cost you can do without. Palm muting is also a lot easier on a fixed, so is de-tuning.

Ibanez vs. ESP vs. epiphone vs. schecter vs. PRS?

Either ESP or Schecter. But I would go with Schecter, because the overall build quality is excellent, electronics works great and pickups sounds great.

Lower string tension on a guitar w/ floyd rose?

I have a Schecter Hellraiser guitar with a floyd rose bridge and i was wondering how i could lessen its string tension (make it easier to bend strings etc.) without using a different string gauge. thanks

Guitar Pickup Question?

I have a schecter hellraiser fr right now with the EMG 81/89 combo. I like this set up but im ready for some change. Im thinking about putting a seymour duncan invader in my bridge and leaving the EMG 81 for clean. Although i dont know if it's possible to have an active and a passive pick up combination. Please dont try telling me that i shouldnt do this. I have experienced the raw crunch of the invader. i like it, i just need to know if what i want is even possible. Thanks!

Is my house haunted, even though these things happen to my mother alone?

Whenever my mom is home alone, i.e, if i am on vacation with a friend, my mom says strange things happen to her. like, over the weekend, i happened to be up north with a friend, my mom said she was doing laundry, and she felt something pulling on her leg. She thought it was our cat rubbing against her leg, but when she looked, nothing was there.Before she went to bed, as she was walking through our dining room, she saw a dark figure out of the corner of her eye.then, when she was sleeping that night, she felt something walking on the bed. again, she thought it was the cat laying down, but nothing was there. A couple years ago, when she had cancer, she was resting on the couch, and she felt something nudge the pillow. it wasn't our cat, and when she looked at the wall, she saw a shadow. But, only two things have happened to me. one, i was sitting in her room, on the computer, and the light was turned off. i heard something come into her room, and go into the closet. My cat was following it. And while i was in the basement with my neighbor, who live in my building (i live in a duplex) we were in her part of the basement, which has a doorway, where you can see into my laundry room, but nothing to the left, because it is blocked by the wall. when we were talking, we heard a little girl laugh. when we heard this, we ran back upstairs. ever since, nothing has happened to me or her. is my house haunted?

What Guitar Pickup would you recommend for me?

The thing you need to ask is does your guitar have the tone and power you want? Unfortunately this also has a lot to do with the amp you use. If someone else plugs their guitar into your amp and gets much more crunch or clarity with the same settings you use you might have an issue. If the drive you get is crunchy enough and the sound isn't too bright or too muddy (particularly if you've played through other amps to take yours out of the equation) why burn money for nothing? You might be trying to answer a problem you don't have.

Doesn't look like it. There's no bridge for the strings like most guitars have, so there would be no where to put it.

Looking for pick ups for my guitar?

I have recently been looking at pick ups to change the stock ones that came on my Schecter PT Fastback. I like my guitar to have the kind of tone that Seether, Foo Fighters and Alice in Chains. I've been looking at two possible combinations a Seymour Duncan JB SH-4 neck and a Seymour Duncan Sh2 Jazz or a Seymour Duncan Distortion Sh-6 and a Jazz one... if there's any other pick ups that you would recommend for the style i would appreciate it cause I don't know much about this since I've always played with the ones that have come with my guitars.. oh and my guitar has a coil tap thing so i don't know if that comes into account when picking out pick ups..

Putting Blackouts in my SG?

Blackouts are great pickups and have more output then EMG. Then again, I have EMG on my old 1980 Jackson and the sustain and tone is amazing and very responsive. But you need to put in a battery which can be an issue if you don't have the rroom in the cavity. Get Blackouts if you want output and a punchier sound when you aare dealing with SG's. Schecter is a good guitar and I wouldn't change the pickups. Better to invest in a good equalizer and tailor the sound.

How can i make it cooler in my room? Its like 100�f here in oklahoma. We have one AC(air conditioner) in the house,its in our living room but its a bedroom AC so it doesnt cool the house so well,and my room is like beyond hot! You like have a heat stroke right when you walk in. Wood floors,and i have blankets over my windows cause i dont have blinds for them. I have a ceiling fan but high,medium,or low still makes my room hotter. My mom said to buy a box fan and put it in the doorway of my room and the hall so it can travel cool air into my room. Guitar tone help Please!!!?

I have been having a lot of trouble trying to find the perfect guitar tone for awhile. I'm looking for a think full and heavy post-hardcore rock/metal tone. Something like a Senses Fail guitar tone as an example. Something that has a distinct high end so I can noodle a bit, but a thick enough middle and low end so i can chug on rhythm guitar too. I currently have a Crate GFX-212 with a cry baby 535q wah pedal, a digitech 300a artist pedalboard, and a digitech hot head distortion pedal. And as for my Guitar, i have a Schecter Diamond Series Hellraiser. If anyone could tell me what is wrong with my setup, and what i should change/get rid of/add/purchase to get to my goal sound, it would be much appreciated. I do have a budget so keep that in mind, I am only an 18 year old with a minimum wage part time job, so like $600 is my limit being a little flexible though. Thank you for all comments! My parents won't let me sleep with my girlfriend?

I'm 20 and she's 21 and we've been dating for 6 months now. she's my first gf and i met her at uni. we're a very close couple and like lots of cuddles and things especially when in bed. i took her to meet my parents 5 months ago and they made us sleep in separate rooms. i thought this was ok cos they didn't know her, but as time went on we visited them a lot more and they really liked her. we left uni for summer today and we are living with them for 2 months but they still won't let us sleep together and we are both really upset. its not like we even want sex that much, we just wanna be together cos we love each other. i bought up the subject with my dad and he says we can't because then he'll have to start letting my 17 year old sister's bf stay and he thinks she's too young for that. i think this is unfair though considering i'm 4 years older and already live on my own. its just not like them to do something like this. me and my gf haven't spent any nights away from each other since getting together except when with my parents and its going to be so hard for us for 2 months. My dog who sleeps with me, woke me at 3am barking like crazy...?

I have a small dog who sleeps on my bed. This night at 3pm i was woken by my dog barking loudly staring at the doorway. I assumed her barking because she could hear my daughter walking up the hallway to come and sleep with us. So i turned my head to look at the doorway expecting to see my sleepy daughter only to my shock saw very clearly a very tall white ghost of a very old lady, the image was looking at the dog barking madly and seemed to be moving its head around in a very confused manner,i could also feel the energy and it was quite bright also. There was no anger, or ill will felt from the ghost but i was petrified just the same. In absolute fear and shock i turned my head to face the other way and could see it in the mirror, with the dog still barking i watched in a fear i have never experienced before, thinking how do i get it to go away, i then shook my doona and yelled out to my daughter, and it faded away. I lay there a while till i had the courage to turn on lights and check on my daughter who was sound asleep. i have lived in this unit 5 years and have never had anything like this happen before, i am now very fearful and am wondering why it came to me. My intuition tells me it was lost or confused and was not there for me! It did not feel familiar, nor did it feel to have any message or omen. So what would have made it visible to me and my dog? Pick attack noise when recording?

Play with a pick that's completely smooth, has no grip. It should lessen the sound considerably. Also, make sure it's not sliding along the strings at all. Finally, try fingerpicking.

Has anyone had this ghostly experience?

A few years ago, I had some ghostly figure attached to me, it was a dark figure, cloaked but their face was burned. When it made its presence known, I would have like a vision in my head, of a burned man and recently I looked at a picture I took and saw it standing in the doorway behind me. It's a very agressive and taunting supernatural being. It growls like a wild dog, but looks like a man, and I was pushed by it. On the first day of summer vacation (yesterday) I was jumping up to touch the rim of the doorway because it is just a habit but I had bear feet and I landed on my big toe which means 105 lb on my toe and it pushed in my nail and was bleeding like heck I went to the er and the end of my to was chipped they buddy taped it and sent me home I went to sleep that night then woke up around 9:30 am but now it's worse if the sheet puts the slightest bit of pressure on it it hurts like heck I can't move it under a blanket or it will hurt and now I am pitching in my softball game and I can barely walk so do you guys have any tips and should I use crutches and go back to the doctors.

A while back i got married and a week later the guy told me he only married me for citizenship and he was in love with another woman and at the time i was pregnant with a child that wasnt his (webhad broken up when i got pregnant). So about a year later i started dating again and started dating this guy and fell in love and he moved in with me, well.. one he asked to use my phone to check his myspace and i let him and while he was in the shower i checked my browser history on my phone and read his messages from myspace and found out he was cheating on me with a bunch of women and men! So i was drinking already before that and i kept drinking and tried to let it go but it just hurt too much so i took my car keys and went for a short drive and when i came back i ran into his car repeatidly.. went to jail and got charged with aggravated domestic assault (please dont judge me).. okay so some time went by and i went to probation n all that stuff and i started dating again and fell in love with someone else... well.. this guy turned out to be a real psychohe was abusive and ruined everything i had.. he wrecked two of my cars completely, robbed my family and me on several occasions, cheated on me, when i tried to break up with him he would threaten to hurt me and my child and family and when i called the cops on him, when i could actually get to the phone which most of the time was impossible cause hed hold me down or block doorways or beat me down but when the cops would show up, he would run if it was inside the apartment and they said they would go lookin for him n take him amd they didnt.. he called me an hour later and said he was across the street at a payphone. Another time when i called the cops, he pulled a knife out and said he would kill me if i didnt tell him what he wanted to hear and this was in my car that he was driving so i was forced to jump out of the car while he was driving and the cops picked me up and i gave them the plate number on my car and later that day he showed up at my house to pick me up... :( out of the several times i called the police on him they only took him once for three months and didnt even put him on probation or anything and even said i was abusing him one time that i called cause i bit him in self defense.. and they mentioned that i had a record of domestic violece with the ex and said they thought i was abusing him and would take ME if it happened agian! Well.. eventually i got sick of thier bs in tennessee and tricked my boyfriend into running away with me to seattle.. my real plan was to get him to do the same thing he was doin to me in tennessee in seattle and get him locked up for good and finaly get a protection order cause in tennessee if you dont have their address you cant get it.. up here, you can. So i did it.. he ddidnt end up getting locked up for as long as i had wanted.. but he finaly left me alone. While we where together one of his exes told me he was like that with her too. Im the first girl hes had to actually do something about it. So now im in seattle and i got pregnant last feburary by a guy i was dating and he also abused me and got deported and i stopped dating, and randomly met my current boyfriend. He aksed me to keep the baby and said he wanted to care for me and the kids and hes not abusive but, hes cheating on me and has been since i moved in with him.. so my problem is this, i have two little girls 4 years old and 6 months old and i have a warrant in tennessee and no longer want to live with this guy and have no way to make money except for the fod stamps and tanf i get from the state till they find out i have a warrant and i dont want to loose my babies n them end up in foster care and having an f*@#ed up life like myself and i only have one friend up here and shes really dirty and smokes too much bad place for the kids. Should i play with a pick or my fingers?

i recently bought a new electric bass (my first), a four string Schecter Omen 4, used, with strings which are about 1 year old. i've been playing the bass for about 4 months, and i'm pretty good, but i can only play with my index and middle fingers. is that normal? i've tried using my ring and pinky finger but they're too weak. should i play with a pick or just two fingers?

How to keep your floors looking clean?

don't use a regular broom, it will leave small particles an the floor. use some sort of dust mop or some type swiffer thing. i use a 2 foot wide dust mop that i can throw into the washing machine. works great and i have cats that come inside. this does a lot better job than a broom.

My Yorkie is 4 months old and is terrified of going through a doorway.?

Friends problem, please help..short and sweet?

so my good buddy of 6 years and I have had "grudge fests" over periods of the past year and a half, where the mad one would delete the other off of skype and basically not talk to him until someone decides to stop being childish. He mainly gets mad at me, but for dumb things in my opinion. One example is when i covered a doorway with tape and his mom tried to come in the door. I later tried to be nice on Skype but he held a grudge and we argued it. Now he's mad because he didn't get the xbox back that he gave me and for the other past grudges. He says he's done with me. Guitar bridge question?

Got a schecter daimen elite 6 guitar. TOM bridge( tune o matic ) good guitar, ive been playing for a bit now, i always change my strings. Today i changed them perfect. Then i noticed they were hugging the back pick up instead of floating above it. I dont know why, whats going on anyone?

Guitar distortion/clean sound problem?

I have a schecter omen 6 and i got it in december 2010. It used to work great, but when I plug it into an amp the clean sound is really quiet and the distorted sound is really loud. I take guitar lessons and the teacher said it has really low output and he has never seen a guitar do that. Can anyone tell me what is wrong with it or how to fix it? It is not the amp because it does it on every amp i use.

In the part where you said the teen it seemed obvious that you were sort of hiding the identity to add mystery but if I were you I wouldn't say teen because it sounds strange there and doesn't flow with what you're writing. It even became more bizarre when you tried to explain "oh he was doing something simple but escalated to a whirlpool of self destruction" and I just want to say don't force it on me just let it happen slowly. You want the best for your son and you are a better parent for it. However, his GPA is a 3.857 which is good enough to earn himself a scholarship at the college of his choice; including Perdue and Carnegie, especially if his SAT scores are superior and that what matters the most. So, he made a "B" on his report card. Big deal! He STILL maintains a near perfect GPA AND he is only a freshman, which is plenty of time for him to reach the top of his class. Difference between two guitars?

I'm 18 now, and have been playing on the same guitar since I got my first one when I was 6 - A 1960s Fender Stratocaster Squier Series that my parents bought me. They sell for 99 dollars right now. I just bought a brand new Schecter Hellraiser Deluxe for 500 dollars and want to know how well the sound improvement will be. I have a Peavey 212 Transtube Amp that I used on the Strat and will use on the Hellraiser. So, will there be a big difference in sound quality or anything else that will be a big improvement? one night i wasn't alone in my home my mother and my brother wife and my nephew was all with me. I had to get something out of my room and my parents door is right across the hall from my room as I passed the doorway I peered in and saw a man standing on my mom's side of the bed just starring at it, it freaked me out i ran back to the kitchen and told my mom she went looking but the old man was gone. Then a few months ago my brother and his wife heard the bathroom door shut but everyone was in the kitchen, then my mom heard someone sneeze when it was just me and her here and then i heard a man cough but i was the only one here. what does this mean did I just imagine it if so how did everyone else hear the things.

Is there a huge difference between schecter omen extreme 6 and omen extreme 6 FR?

I don't know why that would be the case unless folks are just giving it a higher score for having a Licensed Floyd Rose. The regular Extreme 6 seems to have all of the same features except it has a mahogany body while the FR uses basswood. Unless you really need a tremolo I'd pass on the FR. A "Licensed" Floyd Rose is not the real deal and may or may not have tuning issues. Changing strings is a bit of a pain and having the FR setup or worked on can cost more also.

What should i do now?

A while back i got married and a week later the guy told me he only married me for citizenship and he was in love with another woman and at the time i was pregnant with a child that wasnt his (webhad broken up when i got pregnant). So about a year later i started dating again and started dating this guy and fell in love and he moved in with me, well.. one he asked to use my phone to check his myspace and i let him and while he was in the shower i checked my browser history on my phone and read his messages from myspace and found out he was cheating on me with a bunch of women and men! So i was drinking already before that and i kept drinking and tried to let it go but it just hurt too much so i took my car keys and went for a short drive and when i came back i ran into his car repeatidly.. went to jail and got charged with aggravated domestic assault (please dont judge me).. okay so some time went by and i went to probation n all that stuff and i started dating again and fell in love with someone else... well.. this guy turned out to be a real psychohe was abusive and ruined everything i had.. he wrecked two of my cars completely, robbed my family and me on several occasions, cheated on me, when i tried to break up with him he would threaten to hurt me and my child and family and when i called the cops on him, when i could actually get to the phone which most of the time was impossible cause hed hold me down or block doorways or beat me down but when the cops would show up, he would run if it was inside the apartment and they said they would go lookin for him n take him amd they didnt.. he called me an hour later and said he was across the street at a payphone. Another time when i called the cops, he pulled a knife out and said he would kill me if i didnt tell him what he wanted to hear and this was in my car that he was driving so i was forced to jump out of the car while he was driving and the cops picked me up and i gave them the plate number on my car and later that day he showed up at my house to pick me up... :( out of the several times i called the police on him they only took him once for three months and didnt even put him on probation or anything and even said i was abusing him one time that i called cause i bit him in self defense.. and they mentioned that i had a record of domestic violece with the ex and said they thought i was abusing him and would take ME if it happened agian! Well.. eventually i got sick of thier bs in tennessee and tricked my boyfriend into running away with me to seattle.. my real plan was to get him to do the same thing he was doin to me in tennessee in seattle and get him locked up for good and finaly get a protection order cause in tennessee if you dont have their address you cant get it.. up here, you can. So i did it.. he ddidnt end up getting locked up for as long as i had wanted.. but he finaly left me alone. While we where together one of his exes told me he was like that with her too. Im the first girl hes had to actually do something about it. So now im in seattle and i got pregnant last feburary by a guy i was dating and he also abused me and got deported and i stopped dating, and randomly met my current boyfriend. He aksed me to keep the baby and said he wanted to care for me and the kids and hes not abusive but, hes cheating on me and has been since i moved in with him.. so my problem is this, i have two little girls 4 years old and 6 months old and i have a warrant in tennessee and no longer want to live with this guy and have no way to make money except for the fod stamps and tanf i get from the state till they find out i have a warrant and i dont want to loose my babies n them end up in foster care and having an f*@#ed up life like myself and i only have one friend up here and shes really dirty and smokes too much bad place for the kids. Ive already lost one baby to the state when i was sixteen and i would fall apart and die inside if i had to loose two more :( please help me figure this out. Thank you sooo much!

Can you do pinch harmonics on any p?

Should i but the synyster custom? I've been doing a lot of research on it and it looks good for all the things i play and its also meant to be good clean because of the coil tap feature. Is there something better for a similar price though? The sorts of things i play are - a7x, metallica, bullet for my valentine etc. However i also play quite a lot of cleaner things too. Believe it or not this is a very dangerous situation. Your dog is marking the child's room as its territory. The dog should NEVER be allowed in the room, near the child's toys and certainly nowhere near the child himself. You need to get this dog into serious professional training.

Needs help potty training a puppy!!!?

Your problem is this, don't let her go outside and have free time until she has learned that outside means POTTY. Your going to have to be really patient with her to. She's very confused right now. Make her her earn her playtime outside. Watch her closely when she starts sniffing around the house and or goes to her "usual" spot to potty. As soon as you see her, take her outside. You may have to stay out there for a while but just make sure she doesn't have anything to play with outside or to turn her attention away from the real reason she is outside. Also, after she eats/drinks wait about 10-15 mins and take her out. It is going to be hard but if your patient and praise your dog with love and treats when she DOES potty outside she will eventually catch on. It only took my chihuahua a week to learn it this way. Oh and after she realizes that outside means potty, which may take a while, she will start whining or going to the door to let you know. I always just ask my dogs throughout the day, "you wanna potty outside?" even if they don't have to so they learn what it means.
